On Friday, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zagarova announced that the confrontation between NATO and Russia is increasing.
“Citizens of NATO countries should know: Your bloc is fully involved in a confrontation with our country, and this confrontation is escalating,” he said.
In this context, the spokeswoman addressed the Secretary-General of the Alliance, Jens Stoltenberg: “Do you really think that by sending tanks that people should use and even on the basis of Ukrainian embassies abroad, recruitment sites for citizens of Ukraine and Ukrainian citizens of other countries have not yet been involved in the conflict? “So who are they?” he asked.
Zakharova stressed that supplying Ukraine with tanks will not change the situation in favor of Kyiv. Every Western weapon that reaches Ukraine becomes a legitimate target for the Russian Armed Forces. […] “The supply of tanks will not change the situation, of course, in favor of the Kyiv regime, but it will raise the Western countries to a new level of confrontation with our country and our people,” he added.
It should be noted that the German Foreign Minister, Analina Berbock, said on Tuesday that the European Union countries are at war with Russia, while she was talking about the supply of Leopard 2 tanks to Kyiv.
