Russian FM attends East Asia Summit in Cambodia

In a recent phone conversation with the current president of ASEAN, Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen, Zelensky himself asked to make a video statement during the summit, in the midst of the armed conflict with Russia.

In any case, the host foreign minister, Barak Sakhnum, is expected to lead the signing of the instruments of accession of Spain and Ukraine to the Treaty of Amity and Cooperation in Southeast Asia.

So far, the participation in the 40th and 41st ASEAN Summits and other related events has been confirmed by the Prime Ministers of Vietnam, Pham Minh Chin, and China, Li Keqiang, who are already here on an official visit.

The President of the United States, Joe Biden, the Prime Minister of Japan, Fumio Kishida, the President of Canada, Justin Trudeau, and the Vice President of India, Jagdeep Dankar will also be present.
