Participants who register to attend will have access to keynote lectures on future technologies, as well as hands-on experiences.
Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. today announced that it will host the Samsung Developers Conference 2023 (SDC23) at the Moscone Center in San Francisco on October 5.
It will be SDC’s ninth annual conference since it was first held in 2013. Unlike last year, when only invited participants could attend, this time anyone can participate in SDC23 upon registration.
At SDC23, Samsung will highlight platform innovations including SmartThings, Bixby, Knox and Tizen. This approach will demonstrate the ways in which Samsung’s various business areas and devices are expanding flexible customer experiences. In addition, the company will share its collaboration plan and open innovation strategies with developers and partners to create next-generation connected experiences for millions of people around the world.
JH Han, Vice President, CEO and Head of Device Experience (DX) at Samsung Electronics, will open SDC23 with a keynote outlining the company’s vision for technological innovation and expanding customer experience. This technology enables a more personalized and secure customer experience with the help of platform innovation and an enhanced ecosystem. He will be joined by other Samsung executives who will share the company’s strategies in areas related to future technologies. Speakers list includes:

In addition to the keynote, SDC23 will include open breakout sessions so attendees will have opportunities to collaborate and learn more about Samsung’s latest developer-focused platforms and tools, including One UI 6, SmartThings, Matter, Bixby, Tizen, Samsung Health, and more.
In addition, some sessions will be held in the “Open Theater” where participants will be able to talk about different topics on the spot, while participants interested in programming can participate in actual programming through the “Code Lab” and receive guidance from Samsung developers on different topics.
The keynote and keynote sessions will be streamed live on Samsung YouTube and Samsung Developer at the time of the event.
