Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez said on Tuesday that the US government lacks moral authority and deliberately lies about the Caribbean island’s performance against human trafficking.

In this regard, Deputy Secretary of State, Carlos Fernandez de Cosio, commented on that social network that by attacking Cuban international medical cooperation and slandering human trafficking, “the United States seeks to discredit the solidarity service that has benefited millions of humble people on various continents, Marginalized by the market and capitalism.

Likewise, the largest of the Antilles, as a state party to the United Nations Convention against Transnational Organized Crime and its Trafficking in Persons Protocol, is strongly committed to preventing and combating this crime.
