Sonesta launched “The James” brand to franchises in the United States and Latin America

Sonesta International Hotels Corporation includes the new “The James” brand, which has been franchised in the United States and Latin America. The first would be The James Nomad in New York, and that would become the prototype for future franchise properties.

By the end of the year, Sonesta will add two Royal Sonesta Chicago River North and Royal Sonesta Washington DC Dupont Circle hotels.

The James is inspired by its surroundings with locally influenced design and strives to deliver experiences through connection with each guest, said Elizabeth Harlow, director of marketing and branding for Sonesta.

Sonesta expands its brands for franchises that started in 2021 in the United States with the “Sonesta Franchising” franchise platform, which provides hotel operation and support for 14 brands.

It also offers 8,000 square feet of meeting space, a full-service restaurant and lounge, bar, and an outdoor pool and whirlpool. One year ago, the Sonesta franchise came to the United States with a complete platform of franchise services, hotel operations, and franchise support.
