Government Canada Ottawa wants to make medical contraception completely free, Ottawa announced Saturday, detailing the first part of its national drug reimbursement plan.

“Most commonly used” contraceptive methods, such as IUDs (hormonal or copper), hormonal implants, Contraceptive pills Canadian Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland announced in a press conference held at a Toronto pharmacy that the costs of birth control pills and birth control pills will be covered for nine million Canadian women.
