The City Council participates in an institutional forum to promote health and inclusion through adapted sport

Reflecting on the importance of health and prevention, as well as promoting various integration projects through adapted sports. To this end, an institutional forum was held in which the mayor, Meder Moras, took an active part, and participated in the initiatives that they intend to implement in the municipality.

As the municipal government explained in a note, “During the meeting, the Higalak Sports Center, which is an outstanding example of adapted sports and has a comprehensive philosophy and facilities, was visited.” They consider that this sports center is “completely in line with the philosophy of the” Kirol Herya “project, which they are promoting, which aims to bring sports closer to all people and work to prevent diseases.”

“Kirol Herya” is an initiative that will be implemented in collaboration with agents involved in sports and health in the municipality. The aim of this project is to encourage the active participation of the community in sporting activities and to promote healthy lifestyles.

First Mayor Maeder Moras expressed her “enthusiasm” for the meeting and highlighted “the importance of promoting health and inclusion through adapted sport”.

In his opinion “Sport is a powerful tool for improving the quality of life for all people, regardless of their abilities or capabilities. We are committed to providing equal opportunities so that everyone can enjoy the benefits of sport. We will implement the Kirol Herya project and promote an active, healthy and inclusive society.”
