The Public University of Navarre (UPNA) and Navarrabiomed (Centre for Biomedical Research of the Government of Navarre and Academic Institution) organized a conference on physical exercise, health and quality of life on Thursday January 26th.
Eleven speakers will explore the benefits of prescribed exercises in four groups of people: patients with ongoing Covid-19, elderly patients, school children, girls, boys and adolescents with type 1 diabetes. This meeting will take place, with free pre-registration possible. Evening session at the Faculty of Health Sciences of the University of Pamplona.
This meeting will address, among others, the description of physical exercise in modern medicine, the relationship between health status and ongoing Covid-19, and whether geriatric patients can benefit from training and physical activity programs in the school setting. and those aimed at girls, boys, and teens with type 1 diabetes. The conference, which will begin at 3:45 p.m., was organized by Miquel Izquierdo Redín, UPNA Department of Health Sciences Professor and Navarrabiomed researcher.
