The Health Authority received a group of doctors opposing health restrictions

On the same day that the Minister of Health, Hernando Cevallos, confirmed the discovery of 12 cases of the omicron variant of COVID-19Members of the Physicians for Truth Peru group appeared at 10 am at a session of the Health Committee of the Congress of the Republic. During the presentation to Jency Velásquez, a surgeon and member of the group, he explained that the WHO’s chief scientist indicated in December last year that they had no evidence that neither vaccine would prevent people from becoming infected and transmitting the virus.

He commented, “If we note that the benefits of vaccines are much less than not being applied, then this information is what reaches people and they decide freely and voluntarily not to participate in it because it is like any medical procedure one decides about their own body.”

Participated in this session, Parliamentary Adviser Alvaro Lopez. Fanny Herrera Julio Cesar Sarmiento Ginci Velazquez, members of the “Doctors for Truth in Peru” movement; Anushka Malpartida Cavides, a citizen allegedly affected by the vaccine; Maria Concepción, MD, is a community physician.

Physicians for Truth is a group of German origin whose ideology has spread all over the world. In Peru, they have participated in some anti-vaccination rallies, spreading legal methods to evade regulations imposed by health authorities to control the epidemic. In addition, some of its members report that there are a large number of people who died after being vaccinated against COVID-19.
