Lyon, J.T.O.; As of May 26, 2024. Due to the establishment of the JuventudEs Grandeza Council in León, a successful healthcare day was organized in the main areas of the municipality to sponsor physical therapy, promoting youth participation in the creation of social assistance spaces.
This initiative provided the opportunity for students and health professionals to provide free physical therapy support to citizens living in the city of Lyon who are at social risk.
The event brought together approximately 70 students and professionals from the health sector, of which it is estimated that more than 80% belong to the population aged between 18 and 30 years, representing approximately 56 young people committed to the health and well-being of the community. Their community.
Volunteers provided physical therapy services to patients suffering from various musculoskeletal conditions, including back pain, sports injuries, and mobility problems. In addition, the files were delivered to the patients for subsequent follow-up and to ensure their complete recovery.
