eNPS for tech companies will fall to +21 in 2024, 16 points lower than in 2023, according to an employee experience analysis by Nailted.
As is the case every year, Nailted, a tech startup whose software seeks to improve the employee experience, has published a full analysis of the employee experience at tech companies: 2024 Technology Employee Experience Report. Report that through Analysis of over 40 KPIs and data from over 14,000 employees from 54 technology companies mostly from Spain and Latin AmericaIt provides information on the state of the employee experience in terms of job satisfaction, work environment, leadership and camaraderie, feedback and communication, job recognition, professional development, organizational values, and commitment to work.
In 2024, there is an overall decline in many aspects that have created a negative impact on employee experience; Aspects such as communication by the company, salary improvement, professional growth, personal work balance, or independence. In the technology industry, this has translated into lower levels of eNPS or employee net promoter scores, a metric that measures workers’ level of commitment and satisfaction with their company; “In 2022, the average eNPS for technology companies was +34, and in 2023 it was +37. This year 16 points to reach +21″it states José Ignacio Andres, CEO and Founder of Nailted.
34.35% of technology employees would not nominate their company as a “Best Place to Work,” 12.25% more than in 2023.
This report allows us to see hundreds of data that impact the employee experience and provides insight into how it has evolved compared to the previous year. Data such as that 37.68% of employees claim that they feel or have felt pressure at work, 4.78% more than in 2023. And that 29.61% do not feel that managers consider them essential to the success of the business, 8.32% more than in 2023. This More than half of the workers, 51.63%, confirmed that they were dissatisfied with their salaries, an increase of 5.69% over the previous year. Or that 35.19% of employees confirm the absence of career plans, an increase of 7.88% from 2023.
