Paris, March 10 (EFE). – The Paris Stock Exchange closed negative on Thursday and its main index CAC-40 fell by 2.83% after the strong rally of 7% recorded the previous day, before the absence of a diplomat. The war was resolved at the meeting between the foreign ministers of Russia and Ukraine.
The CAC 40 index settled at 6,207.20 points and within five days accumulated a loss of 2.68%.
Of the forty stocks on the Paris Stock Exchange, 35 closed with losses, which only managed to avoid Vivendi Group (+ 1.47%), Carrefour (1.02%), Thales (0.95%), Unibel-Rodamco-Westfield (0.73%) and Orange Group Telecom (0.57%).
The declines were notable across all sectors, including banking and luxury, reversing the balance at CAC-40 on Wednesday.
This Thursday, Crédit Agricole lost 7.45%, Société Générale 5.68% and BNP Paribas 4.04%, while car manufacturer Stellantis fell 6.95%, Alstom 6.19%, Kering 4.99% Veolia Environnement, which fell 4.99%.
