A few years ago Kim Kardashian became fashionable the contourAnd the A technique that consists of using darker tones and a highlighter to sculpt the face. While the dark color was used on parts such as the temples, jawline, or sides of the nose, the highlighter was used to bring light to areas such as the bridge of the nose, eyebrows, or cheekbones.
After several years of practicing this technique and using all kinds of cosmetics, especially makeup bases that covered her skin excessively, the businesswoman said enough was enough and started applying makeup in a more natural way.
This is how she explained herself to Gwyneth Paltrow on the Goop podcast, the protagonist’s lifestyle company Shakespeare in love. Kim confirmed that confinement due to the Corona virus, nearly three years ago, completely changed her beauty routine.
“I don’t wear makeup as much as before, and now I have better skin. I think starting in my 40s, with nowhere to go, I developed a skincare routine that made me feel really confident,” admitted Kardashian, who admitted. Put on makeup but without that pressure to be perfect all the time.
“I love makeup, I love practicality when I go out, but for my day-to-day stuff, I don’t care. If I’m not in makeup, I don’t care. If I don’t have to do my hair and makeup to score my show.” he says on the podcast.

This change in habits has been noticed on her Instagram, where in recent months she has posted many photos in which she appears without makeup, or only made up of very few products, something that would have been unimaginable until recently. She has also been encouraged to post nature videos, such as one where she shares her nine-step routine with her millions of followers. “When you do that and see how glowy your skin is, you don’t feel like putting on a lot of makeup,” she says.
In her conversation with Gwyneth Paltrow, the businesswoman also talked about her beauty company SKKN, a brand that went on sale last June and consists precisely of nine products that Kim uses to care for her skin. “I’ve learned a lot in my journey and I’ve had the best facialists, the best esthetician, I’ve tried all kinds of lasers (…) I’ve tried everything and I wanted to put everything I’ve learned, work with my favorite esthetician and develop higher level products” reveals the actress.
