Sam and Graham return. This August 14, the second part of ‘Men in Guilds’ arrives on Movistar Plus+, a non-fiction series covering a country’s places and traditions and its connection to Scotland’s cultural heritage as a road trip. Four new 30-minute episodes from two of the most iconic characters from ‘Outlander’: Sam Heughan (Jamie) and Graham McTavish (who played Jamie’s uncle Douglas Mackenzie in the series). This time, the hosts travel to New Zealand.
‘Outlander’ actors Sam Heughan and Graham McTavish hit the road again. On this occasion, they visit New Zealand’s history, traditions and most iconic places, showing why it is considered the Scotland of the Southern Hemisphere. Surrounded by landscapes that will take your breath away, the two actors venture into shark-infested oceans, show off their fiercest competitive edge by practicing various extreme sports, learn first-hand about world-renowned animal husbandry, and learn to dance the traditional Maori haka. And you might even see the odd hobbit along the way. A unique and special opportunity to discover New Zealand through the prism of Scottish heritage.
