A new rumor brings some apparently disappointing news There will be no other release on Day 1 on Xbox Game Pass from third-party developers in 2022. Over the past year, Microsoft has been working even harder with Xbox Game Pass to bring notable third-party titles to the service, many on their launch day: MLB The Show 22, Rainbow Six Unarmed, and Outriders, to name a few.
And while Microsoft will likely keep trying to add new titles to its service, it looks like we shouldn’t expect another first-day Xbox Game Pass release from third-party publishers for the remainder of 2022. Or so Nick Baker thinks. On the other hand, we know that there will be an Xbox Game Pass subscription, and we already know How much do you save with the family plan for Xbox Game Pass.
Won’t there be another Day 1 release on Xbox Game Pass this year?
Baker confirmed that he wasn’t quite sure there won’t be another Day One release on Xbox Game Pass this year, but he made it clear during the latest episode of the XboxEra Podcast that he doesn’t think high-profile titles like Hogwarts Legacy, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Gotham Knights, or others land on Xbox Game Pass. Assuming this rumor is true, it will make the Xbox lineup in the second half of 2022 not full of surprises, although there is still plenty to see.
When will the Xbox Game Pass Family Plan come to Spain?
Microsoft’s lineup of first-party games doesn’t seem full of year-end surprises. anyway 2023 looks even stronger for Xbox with games like Starfield, Redfall, and Forza Motorsport. Now, just because there isn’t another Day 1 release on Xbox Game Pass doesn’t mean major games won’t be coming to the service. It should be noted that this is all just a rumor at the moment, so take what Baker said with caution.
