The development of two new health facilities to ease the demand of patients attending Tchibo Hospital, is one of the alternatives analyzed between the Director General of the Social Security Fund (CSS), Dr. Enrique Lao Cortes and the district authorities from Tchibo.
This proposal outlines the ULAPS in Tortí and the CAPPS in Tanara de Chepo. In this regard, Dr. Lau Curtis welcomed both alternatives, however, he noted that everything that is done in CSS entails planning, so they are going to start with this process to identify all the needs.
“We will gladly include this topic in the future plans of the fund, as it is not just about construction, it must be provided with budget, equipment and human resources,” said Dr. Lau Cortes.
For his part, Mayor Chibo, Juan Jose Ayola, added that the development of these two new facilities will contribute to realizing great benefits to the residents, as it will expand the scope of services to include various areas in need, such as Tanara, Torte and part of Darin.
