The Bugatti Type 57 SC Atlantic is a timeless masterpiece designed by Jean Bugatti. Throughout its nearly 90 years of existence, it has captured the imagination of car enthusiasts and is considered one of the most valuable and exclusive cars in the world. Many of its design features, including the bolted fin that runs the entire length of its body, inspired Bugatti's modern aesthetic DNA. But this car was not just a reference for the Alsatian company's design team: a customer wanted to recreate and reinterpret this classic gem in its new supercar, resulting in the Chiron Super Sport '57 One of One', a tribute to Bugatti's rich heritage.

Inside, the customer chose Gaucho leather in a timeless color to highlight the exterior design.

“Twenty years ago, I saw a ’57 SC Atlantic for the first time. I remember the day as if it were yesterday. I visited the Moline Auto Museum in Oxnard, and there it was alone on a pedestal, one of only three examples remaining. I, a lifelong car fan, “I fell in love with it from the moment I saw it.” Two decades later, when her husband – also a Bugatti owner who shares the same passion and dedication to cars as his wife – surprised her on her 70th birthday with a personal invitation from the brand to go to Molsheim to build her own Chiron Super Sport. : Her dream began to come true.

This special journey to realize his vision, which he shared with Jascha Straub, chief designer of Sur Mesure at Bugatti, spanned a year. The end result is the perfect combination of bringing together a passionate, bold-minded client and an extremely talented, creative design and engineering team. The color chosen for this vibrant tribute is a case in point; The stunning silvery blue color that was engraved in the customer's mind (and the only one that could be seen).

But getting the exact same shade was not an easy task.
