I am very happy with the product. After about a year of use, I finally decided to write a review. I will tell you my personal experience, evaluation and some recommendations regarding installation; So, if you’re looking for a short review, just keep in mind that it’s a great device and I recommend it.
I’ll start by describing my condition, in case anyone can relate. I live in a house and my bedroom is on the second floor. The living room, on the ground floor, where our telephone company’s main router is located, is, for example, “diagonal” to my bedroom. This meant that there was good connectivity throughout the ground floor and the bedroom directly above the living room, but not in my room. Over the years, I’ve experimented with different Wi-Fi signal repeaters; Although they sometimes do their job, they always end up failing or giving a very weak signal. Next, we decided to run an Ethernet network cable from the living room to the upstairs, where we plugged in another old router. This was not a good solution either, since there was little signal and for it to reach my bedroom I needed the doors to be open… Finally, we extended the network cable to my bedroom and I bought this amazing router.

I contracted for 300MB and with my operator’s router if I stood next to it it would only give me 150MB. With this room I got about the same thing but the range improved somewhat, in one room I only got 1MB and couldn’t do anything but now I’m getting about 15MB. Changing the Wi-Fi configuration may improve it, I set it to automatic mode so it decides when to connect to 2.4GHz or 5GHz.
