Primary health care is one of the main axes that the municipality is working on with the aim of reaching neighbors with good care in a decentralized manner. In this sense, the collection of data for the current period presents important statistics that reflect the increase in the interventions implemented in both public assistance and primary health care centers (CAPS) in relation to the previous year, after achieving in March this year 18 thousand more benefits during the same month in 2022.

In detail, during the past month, 58,804 interventions were carried out, which is a number that far exceeds 40,084 interventions during the previous period. Of the total, 6,300 correspond specifically to consultations and interest held in public assistance, to which more than 8,000 interests have been added by medical, pediatric, and nursing rangers.

The health service provided by the municipality reflects a steady increase observed in the data from October to March, with increases for each month, except for February. From October to January, the consecutive globs in the municipal health system are as follows: 42,747 for the month of October; 48,877 in November; 51,000 in December; 51,467 for January; and 43,364 and 58,804 in February and March, respectively.

In connection with the interest of the third month of the year, significant figures were reflected in the work of CAPS, highlighting the regional scope of the recently empowered institution in the Hiper Amma building. There, since its opening on March 27, until the last day of that month, 44 situations and demands from families in the Strip have been met.

In the same order, among the CAPS that reached a greater number of benefits, those in Los Olmos neighborhoods stand out with 2,611; number of beaches 2,461; Nicholas Avellaneda with 2,278; Roque Sanz Peña with 1,815; La Calera with 1,400; and San Martin with 1,324.

It should be remembered that in each of the neighboring health centers, health professionals provide primary services in pediatrics, social work, nursing, nutrition, cardiology, educational psychology, and dentistry. At the same time, psychiatric assessments, treatments, immunizations, placement of injections, control of vital signs, pregnancy and healthy children are performed.

It should be noted that of the total interventions that were implemented during the month of March, 72.24 percent of them concerned neighbors who did not have social work or paid service. Regarding the age groups with the highest incidence when it comes to attendance at municipal offices, people between the ages of 30 and 50 stand out, followed by children from 0 to 5 years, patients from 51 to 70 years, boys and girls. Girls from 6 to 11 years old.
