Darius Bazley added 20 points and rookie Josh Gedi finished with 18 points and 10 assists for the Thunder, who started the season with four consecutive losses.
The Lakers played without LeBron James, who missed the second game in a row with a right ankle injury.
Russell Westerbuck added another triple against his former team. He finished with 20 points, 14 rebounds and 13 assists to reach 185 hat-tricks before being sent off in the final seconds. He was welcomed during performances.
Anthony Davis scored 30 points for the Lakers, who set his record at 2-3.
Thunder was up 118-115 when Carmelo Anthony intercepted a Jedi pass, but he missed a 3-point attempt to tie the match and Thunder bounced back.
LuDort fouled 4.7 seconds and made two free throws to increase the margin to five for Thunder.
Basley intercepted the serve and hit the ball 1.5 seconds before the end of the match. This upset Westbrook, who faced Basley and was sent off for his second technical foul in the match.
