He also proposed expanding cooperation to new areas such as climate change response, digital transformation, energy development, mining and peacekeeping operations.

On Tuesday, Su Lines also received Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, who spoke highly of the strong, comprehensive and significant development of relations between Vietnam and Australia in recent years.

The Prime Minister said that this is the result of the efforts of both parties during more than five decades of developing diplomatic relations, and thanked the peripheral state for implementing many cooperation projects in areas such as defense and security, science and technology, innovation and combating climate change.

Meanwhile, Lines said Vietnam is an important partner that the Australian government and parliament give top priority to in the region, with which they share many similarities and have high strategic trust.

He considered this a good basis for continuing to enhance cooperation in all fields, in a way that meets the needs and aspirations of the two peoples.
