Brooklyn Hora started his young racing career in 2022 in a Ford Fiesta SD, this time he drove the Ford Fiesta Rally 4.
ERC 2023 champion Hayden Baden mourned his loss online:
“I am at a loss for words… First of all, my deepest thoughts and wishes go out to Rana, Linnaire, Lucy and all the families involved at this tragic time. The entire motorsports community is with you! I believe Brooklyn will have gone far in this sport: he was young, very talented and he has Had a great future ahead. He is the future of our sport, but one of the kindest and simplest young men I have ever met. His career may have just begun but he has already made an impact!
Tyson, you are one of the true rally enthusiasts. I remember you waving the New Zealand flag at WRC events throughout 2017 and 2018, supporting us in all circumstances and always promoting the rally in the media. A great businessman, sportsman and father. “I'm thinking about his wife and family right now.”
