Huracan de Trelou defeated Juan Manuel de Rosas 6-1 for the eleventh date of the Men’s Apertura of the Valle League. This decisive victory allowed “Globo” to climb to the top of Zone B of the championship.

There was a dedicated protagonist in the production. New Zealand forward Jamie Cotter made his first division debut with a hat-trick, half of Isaiah Aberasthuri’s goals for his side. 24 minutes into the first half, the forward opened the scoring with a neat shot that completely canceled out goalkeeper Brian Rubler. The goalkeeper tried to jam him into the left corner of the big area but Cotter, 17, finished with mastery.

Jamie celebrated his debut in the networks with great enthusiasm and received enthusiastic congratulations from his teammates. “I feel very good, very happy. I don’t shave my hair for nothing. This group helps me with everything,” said the teenager. “I was able to score three goals and I was able to help Huracan win a game. We have to focus and train hard to continue this. Let’s go Huracan,” said the young attacker after the game.

Lautaro Alarcon’s goal in the 31st minute set the stage for Cotter’s remaining pair of late afternoon goals. Six minutes into the second half, he capitalized on a mistake by Rubiler and slotted the ball into the net. And at 13, the striker sealed his hat-trick with a fine shot. After that last goal, Kotter was moved to applause.

Sergio Martin, with a header, goals from Ignacio Casal and Elias Rodriguez’s brace capped an impeccable afternoon for the Huracan and Jamie Cotter. Afternoon dressed as Trelou New Zealand.
