“By maintaining the mix of restaurants in a spacious setting that is airy and fresh, Centro Comercial Unicentro ensures an enjoyable experience for all its visitors. The new dining hall is the place to sample the different dishes that will satisfy the tastes of all Guatemalans.”
Guatemala. Unicentro Shopping Centre, with 27 years of experience, is presenting the latest renovation of its food court. Maintaining 12 restaurants known to its users, including Pollo Brujo, Al Macarone, El Cafetalito and others.
Since the last redesign in 2015, Unicentro Shopping Center has worked to identify users’ needs and know their tastes to ensure that the new food court in 2022 suits the tastes of many.
Due to its strategic location, Unicentro Shopping Center is a meeting point for thousands of people annually; Its access is by two main roads in District 10, with a public transport station a few meters away, the various corporate centers around it (plus more than 30 private offices occupying levels 4th through 11th) and its commercial mix positioning among the most visited in the sector. This path has made it possible to consolidate various aspects of the work and to proceed with a resolute step, operating for more than 27 years.
During this time, the food court has innovated, maintaining its essence and main objective, which is to offer a variety of restaurants that can satisfy the tastes of its users. Fast food options, homemade food, and even the Salvadoran food option have been part of the restaurant mix that makes it a favorite of many.
The new dining hall will have the capacity to serve a maximum of 560 people at one time, while maintaining safety and distance measures. The food court currently receives approximately 50,000 people per month, with this redesign, these visits are expected to increase by 30%. Giving a chance for economic revitalization and soon, new spaces for entrepreneurs or restaurant franchisees who would like to be a part of it.
