After a tour of the health home facilities, he presented concrete actions to be implemented, for which $22.8 million has been allocated: $17 million to hire staff, $5.5 million for equipment and $300,000 to maintain infrastructure. For this to be a reality, he asserted, “there are already the necessary resources and a transparent and competitive public contracting process.”

In this sense, he explained that starting from March, the capacity of the hospital will increase by 170 beds. As of December, there will be 491, at 100% capacity. In parallel, the number of health workers will triple. While, until the end of the year, this hospital will have 29 specialties and 1,398 new workers, which will be added to the existing 697 workers.
