Salzburg boosted its chances of qualifying from Group E after beating Dinamo 1-0 with a goal from Okafor and a superb performance by Seewald in the midfield.

The match could not have started worse for the German team after goalkeeper and captain Guläcki sustained a knee injury in the first minutes. Nkunko responded with personality and put his side ahead before the break with his first Champions League goal, but Jota tied the match once the second half started for Celtic. However, Andre Silva showed his punches in the final stage of the match and scored two lopsided goals in the match in favor of Leipzig.
