Has it occurred to you that you want to search for a specific message in the chat? The WhatsApp? Well, you should know that inside every chat there is a content search engine. You just have to open the app and enter into a conversation. If you click on the name of the recipient, a list will open with information about him.
There, you will find the option “Search in Chat”; When the tool is activated, a search bar will appear at the top where you will just have to type in a keyword to be able to find this message.
Meta has already rolled out this tool in other communications apps like Facebook Messenger and is testing new shortcuts in the beta version of WhatsApp for mobile.
WhatsApp is testing another search system
WaBetainfo media reported that new ways for people to access specific chat content are being tested. It has not been released globally yet and it is not known if the setting will be kept in the latest version of the app.
If you are a part of WhatsApp beta, just enter a chat to notice the difference. At the bottom of your friend’s profile picture you’ll see the options for “Contact” or “Video”.
But WhatsApp has added a big magnifying glass button that says “Search”. This way, you don’t have to look for the tool at the bottom of the list of options.
