With the joint efforts of the health and education secretariats, the “I am a role model” strategy has been published.

This health initiative aims to create healthy scenarios that support and contribute to health and well-being in the school environment.

Tonga, April 14, 2023. (UACP). The Ministry of Education, in coordination with the Ministry of Health, recently organized a day of socialization and awareness of the “I am an example” strategy targeting heads of educational institutions in the municipalities of Muneakira and Togo, at the Antonio Nariño Institute of Technical Education in Muneakira.

The “I am an example” strategy, which is an initiative of the Ministry of Health’s Secretariat of Health, aims to: Implement actions that improve environmental, social, health and health conditions, that encourage healthy eating and promote physical activity in educating the community, in order to generate health scenarios that support and contribute to health and well-being in the school environment.

Similarly, from the Department of Education, IE was accompanied by the field of Safety and Health at Work with the topic: Definition and Redefinition in Safety and Health at Work, and Socialization of Hazard and Risk Matrix according to GTC-45.
