San Diego. The University of California, San Diego, has gone one step further and has been recognized globally as one of the best universities, according to a ranking Published by US News and World Report .
The report’s list of the world’s best universities placed UCSD at number one. 20, up a notch compared to last year. Tritons can also be proud that their school ranks 15th among the best universities in the United States and sixth among the best public schools in the country.

The report factored 2,000 universities into this year’s rankings, using 13 indicators, including global and regional research reputation, to shape its rankings. It also includes assessments of specific topics. Such was the case with the University of California, San Diego.
